    Waking for the first time in a testing facility on the industrial planet Silor, RZ98991 soon learned its purpose in life: to serve Cidon Corporation, a company who runs DNA analysis to the betterment of its customers. RZ’s own particular skillset involved piloting and stealth, everything the organization needed to protect its goods during transport, or to get them back if they were stolen. The android had no intention of being the eternal slave of those that gave him life, however. When the opportunity for escape arose he took it, shaking off his belligerent creators with threats of blackmailing them to rival companies- the deeds he had committed, and the secrets he had found out, under their tyrannical leadership would be politically crippling. Eventually he gained his freedom, got falsified credentials including the adoption of the name Raymond Zeznik, and began to hire on with freelancer crews to find his place in life. He maintains the façade of a human, largely due in part to the ‘subservient android’ ideals of his old company, and other prejudices and ill ideas people might get if they knew what lay beneath his skin.

    //Do I Dream of Electric Sheep?
    It is impossible to tell Ray is an android by looks alone: his skin, hair, eyes -even his skeleton- have all been artificially fabricated (think 3D organ printing, or West World). The only real way one would be able to tell he isn’t an actual human would be to cut him open and examine him or his blood, which is home to android-specific nanites. Since he is made of biological components he is able to eat and sleep, though he does not need to breathe and doesn’t suffer the normal environmental effects of being in a vacuum. Additionally, when he’s put under intense (usually physical) strain, circuit-like markings begin to glow under his skin. Hinting at his fabricated self, occasionally he has a hard time exhibiting or understanding emotions like anger, fear, or love. Exemplifying this, oftentimes he’s cocky, joking, charming and flirtatious with no want or need for deep and committed relationships.
